This project involved extending the wharf by 300 feet for Offshore Patrol Cutters, constructing a new Maintenance Weapons Division building, and expanding administrative offices. CD&E provided full-time construction QA/QC for pile driving, precast deck installation, concrete work, building construction, parking lot, and utility systems.
DOE Western Area Power Administration – Estes to Flatiron Transmission Line Replacement
CD&E provided construction QA/QC inspections for a project replacing 17 miles of transmission structures and conductors between Estes Park and Loveland, CO. The scope included replacing wood poles with steel monopoles, using various foundation types like direct embed, micro-piles, and caissons.

Grand Canyon Tiny Home Village
CD&E designed a 224-lot Tiny Home Community south of the Grand Canyon, covering 80 acres with shared recreation facilities and open spaces. The development will feature community gardens, a dog park, playgrounds, picnic areas, and its own restaurant and bar.
Walden Campground
CD&E provided full design services for Walden Campground, including documents for the Conditional Use Permit, septic systems, grading, and drainage improvements, and the right-of-way encroachment permit from ADOT.

This project involved the layout and design of a 5-star glamping retreat with all-inclusive tent structures that would be erected for 6 months of the year. The location, near the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance, allows glampers to experience comfort with the great outdoors.

Private Residence
This custom-built residence is a private, single-family estate spanning over 20,000 square. CD&E contributed the grading & drainage plan and water & sewer design, including a commercially-sized fire flow system.
Miramonte Condo at Beaver
CD&E completed grading and drainage plans for a 32-unit, five-story condominium development. The design included parking lots, a public sidewalk, an alleyway, and underground detention, with coordination on traffic signal improvements in collaboration with the City of Flagstaff.
Custom-Built Residence
This custom-built residence is located outside of Flagstaff, AZ. It features 24,285 square feet of livable space. CD&E prepared grading and drainage plans, as well as on-site septic plans, handling up to 4,500 gallons per day.
Located at the northeast corner of Historic Route 66 and Ponderosa Parkway, a small retail park includes a Clean Freak Carwash, Culver’s Restaurant, Flagstaff Liquors, and Starbucks. CD&E provided Grading, Drainage, and Utility Plans for each project.
The Flagstaff Collision Center, a 2.89-acre project, benefited from a Low Impact Development design to avoid stormwater detention for 70,591 square feet of impervious area, including 43,191 square feet of paved parking, and also developed utility plans for the 30,000-square-foot building.

Department of Energy - Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge
This Wildlife Refuge was a designated Superfund site managed by the Department of Energy Legacy Management Program, underwent grading, drainage, and erosion control improvements for its original landfill. CD&E ensured compliance with federal standards for stormwater runoff, wildlife, vegetation, and wetland preservation.
Kalispel Water Source Study
CD&E conducted a feasibility study for the Kalispel Indian Tribe in Washington to identify new water sources due to reliability issues with their Usk/Cusick supply. The study explored groundwater wells, surface water, and a potential system takeover and provided design, treatment, and cost estimates.
Department of Energy - North Area Building
CD&E managed the North Area Buildings Project for the Sierra Nevada Region of the Western Area Power Administration, which included renovating a building, constructing a new parking structure, and building a warehouse. The project involved designing grading, drainage, and a crash-rated security gate.
